The City of Acworth would like to thank all of the volunteers who came out to build phase one of the playground at the Acworth Sports Complex on Saturday, April 26. Phase two equipment will be istalled on April 29. The playground will officially open on Saturday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m.

The Acworth Youth Football and Cheerleading Association is currently holding registration for the 2008 season for football and cheelreaders between the ages of 5 and 12. The on-site registration dates are May 17, June 14, July 12, July 19, and July 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Halbrooks Field. Practice begins July 28.
