The association provides football and cheerleading opportunities to Acworth's
youth between the ages of five and twelve. For more information you can visit the

The Parks and Recreation Department operates a youth basketball league for
children between the ages of five and fourteen. Registration begins in September.
Practices will start in the first of November and games tip off in early December.

The association provides baseball opportunities to children between the ages of
four and fifteen. Seasons run during the spring and fall. For more information you

The summer is full of opportunities for your child to brush up on the fundamentals
of several sports. The department hosts two baseball camps, two football camps,
a softball camp, and a cheerleading camp. All camps are extremely affordable.
These camps begin in mid June to early August. For more information contact

The league is a partnership with the Special Needs Development Group, Inc. that
provides athletic opportunities to children with mental and physical disabilities
between the ages of 5 and 21. The league currently offers baseball and kickball
and who knows what the future will bring! All games are held on the Horizon Field
located in the Acworth Sports Complex. For more information or to get involved

This is a non-competitive program to help three and four year olds develop basic
skills for sports programs in the future. The program gives children a chance to
explore a variety of different sports all in one program such as soccer, t-ball, and
basketball. Camp is every Thursday for 9 weeks with sessions in spring,

The Kennworth Track and Field Club is for boys and girls, ages 5 - 18, who want
to learn about Track and Field and have fun. Provides the opportunity to compete
against other teams, and develop the basic and intermediate skills to advance
into the next track and field and cross country levels of high school, college, and

Acworth Adult Flag Football League
The Acworth Parks and Recreation Department offers an adult flag football league.
The season begins in March and concludes at the end of May. Games are played
at Logan Farm Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To keep season play exciting,
the league offers weekly updates on individual statistics and even a Player of the
Week! The league will conclude with The Super Joe Bowl, which will crown the
