The association provides football and cheerleading opportunities to Acworth's youth between the ages of five and twelve. The 2008 on-site registration dates are May 17, June 14, July 12, July 19, and July 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Halbrooks Field. Practice begins July 28. The summer is full of opportunities for your child to brush up on the fundamentals of several sports. The department hosts two baseball camps, two football camps, a softball camp, and a cheerleading camp. All camps are extremely affordable. These camps begin in mid June to early August. This is a non-competitive program to help three and four year olds develop basic skills for sports programs in the future. The program gives children a chance to explore a variety of different sports all in one program such as soccer, t-ball, and basketball. Camp is every Thursday for 6 weeks and begins in early August.
