The Acworth Parks and Recreation Department is currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Part Time
Parks Maintenance Laborer. The job is 16 hours per week for 32 weeks, and 40 hours per week during the Spring and
Summer months. Job duties include, but are not limited to performing all work necessary to maintain the grounds at
all parks; including but not limited to manicuring athletic fields, lining fields, playground maintenance, laying sod,
weed eating, mowing, beach maintenance, trash removal, cleaning bathrooms and buildings at parks, pruning and
other upkeep of plants and trees. Also responsible for clearing of walkways and parking lots.

The Acworth Parks and Recreation Department is currently seeking applications for the position of Cauble Park Gate
Attendent. Applicants must be over the age of 16 and must be available from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The gate
operates from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each weekend between these holidays. Employees are expected to be able to
work the Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekends.
