Assistant City Manager - Brandon Douglas
The Assistant City Manager/Economic Development Director assists in planning and administering city services
and the administrative support for economic development and the redevelopment for the City of Acworth.
He also serves as Acting City Manager in the absence of City Manager.
Some of the Assistant City Manager/Economic Development Director's major responsibilities are as follow:
- Supervises research projects to resolve operational problems and develops recommendations on major city policy/programming matters
- Researches, writes and coordinates grants
- Formulates and manages the City's economic development and redevelopment activities and projects
- Develops long-range comprehensive plans for economic development
