Inspection: Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Bidders must adhere to the inspection dates and times indicated in the item description. Bidders are aware that there are no warranty's or guaranty's expressed or implied, all items sold "as it", all sales final. It is highly recommended that all items be inspected prior to bidding. Once advertisement is placed, no verbal communication with bidders will be allowed concerning advertised property's condition, other than location and times for viewing the items(s) by prospective bidders. Once bids are received, the winning bidder will make payment to the City Clerk, as so stated in the advertisement. A GovDeals Sellers Certificate will be generated and issued, title exchanged and/or executed by the City Clerk (as available). The winning bidder must present such documents to the respective department for the property to be passed and released to the new owner. Departments will not accept any funds directly from bidders. The City Clerk will execute any and all documents for other governmental agencies as required to ensure liability and ownership has passed to the new owner. The City Clerk's office is located at 4415 Senator Russell Avenue, Acworth, GA 30101.

Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashiers Check, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory).

Checks shall be made payable to: City of Acworth.

Removal: All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. All items must be removed completely from the premise. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
