National Bike Registry

We are now a participating Police Department in the National Bike Registry. Bike owners can go to the NABR website, to register their bikes. . In the event a bike is recovered, police departments nationwide will have the ability to identify and return the bike. The registration fee for a ten year membership is $10 and the member receives a certificate, and a tamper proof decal to place on the bike for easy identification. There are other plans available such as a family plan that allows the registration of up to five bikes.

In the event that a bike is stolen that was not previously registered, the owner can have their bike listed on the law enforcement portion of the site. The cost of this registration is only $0.99 and the bike will remain listed for six months. In the event the Acworth Police Department recovers a bike, we can now access the registry and enter the serial number or NABR number. If the bike has been registered as stolen or the owner is a member of the National Bike Registry we will be able to return the bike to the owner.
