Albert L. Price. 4329 Collins Circle, Acworth. Born in Alabama.
Albert “Butch” Price received a Bachelors Degree from Livingston State College(1964)in Alabama,
a Masters Degree from West Georgia College (1969) and an EDS from the University of Georgia (1977).
After completing his studies in 1964, he moved to Acworth and began teaching at Acworth Elementary School.
Mr. Price started working in school administration in 1970 after teaching for six years. He was principal
at Powder Springs and in 1978, became principal of Acworth Elementary School. Alderman Price retired in
1996 and ran for public office. He has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Post 2: Gene Pugliese

Gene Pugliese is a local native who graduated from North Cobb High School in 1979 and went on to earn an Architectural Engineering degree from Southern Polytechnic State University. Gene, his wife Cyndi and two children, Aisling & Gabriel reside in downtown Acworth.
In 1999, Gene and his wife Cyndi founded a local commercial contracting business that they grew into a successful multimillion dollar company. Gene is currently a leadership coach, trainer and motivational speaker working with like-minded people who are serious about reaching their goals for financial & time freedom.
Gene holds an ICF accredited life coaching certification, is active in the Acworth Business Association, Georgia Chapter of the US Green Building Council, coaches youth soccer and serves on the Board of Trustees at Chattahoochee Technical College. Gene retired from the Air Force Reserves in 2003 and is a veteran of Desert Shield/Storm.

Post 3: Bob Weatherford

Bob Weatherford and his wife Lori have lived in Acworth for 15 years. They are both active in local charities as co-founders of "Shop with a Hero" and Lori is the founder of "Tackle Hunger" now in its 12th year. They are also co-founders of the “Joy Foundation” (www.joyfoundation.org). On Wednesday, December 01, 2004, Bob and Lori were named "2004 Acworth Citizens of the Year" at the Cobb Chamber breakfast. Bob is now in his third term as Aldermen.
Bob & Lori with their sons Sean (Junior @ Georgia College & State University) and Justin live on Logan Road near Logan Farm Park. His daughter Heather teaches at Acworth Elementary and son Matt lives in St. Augustine. They are active in their church at Acworth United Methodist Church. Bob was a Reserve Police Officer for over 20 years and spent the last 8 at Acworth PD before becoming a city councilman. He is the recipient of two “silver Stars for Bravery” from the American Police Hall of Fame and was the VFW Officer of the Year in 1997 and Cobb Chamber of Commerce's Officer of the Year in 1996.
Bob is the past president of the Cobb Municipal Association. He is an alumnus of the 2005 Cobb Chamber "Leadership Cobb" program and was a member in 2003 of the "Honorary Commanders" program. He is also a 2006 graduate of the Atlanta Regional Commission Leadership Institute. He currently serves on the steering committee for the Honorary Commanders and Leadership Cobb programs through the Chamber of Commerce.
He also is the Cobb Municipal Associations liaison with Cobb County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and serves as their treasurer. He is also on the North Metro Technical College board and serves as Vice Chair.
Bob has a BA Degree in Math from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, and spent most of his career in high tech field with over 20 years at Amdahl and STK Corporations in consulting and professional services sales. He currently works for Integrated Technology Services as sales manager providing in car video systems and technology services to law enforcement and governments in Georgia and Alabama. |

Post 4: Tim Richardson

Tim Richardson is a native of Marietta and is descended from some of Cobb's earliest settlers. A resident of Acworth since 1980, he and his wife Marty have three adult sons. He is currently serving his fourth term on the Acworth Board of Aldermen.
Richardson is an alumnus of Marietta High School and a graduate of Chattahoochee Technical College. He has been associated with Böwe Bell & Howell in Durham, N.C. since 1982 as a Senior Customer Service Engineer specializing in high speed mail processing and sorting systems.
He served as a Local Board Member with the United States Selective Service System for twenty years and as a Commissioner for the Acworth Housing Authority. He is recipient of the President's Award of the North Cobb Touchdown Club. He has volunteered with the Acworth Youth Football Association, North Georgia Youth Football League, Acworth Baseball Association, Kennworth Track Club, and the North Cobb High School football and track programs.
Richardson is an amateur radio operator (W4IOU), a former Boy Scout and Explorer Scout and was inducted into Scouting's Order of the Arrow. He is a graduate of the Acworth Police Department's Citizens Police Academy, serves on the Cobb County Community Emergency Response Team and is a soldier in the Georgia State Defense Force.

Post 5: Tim Houston

Tim Houston, a native of Acworth, is married to Janice. They have one son and two daughters.
Tim is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry. He is an alumnus of North Cobb High School and a graduate of North Metro Technical College.
He is employed by Cobb Energy in Marietta, GA. Tim serves on the Citizens Advisory Board for Northwest Bank & Trust and the Acworth Elementary School Council. He is the Pastor and Founder of Joshua Gospel Tabernacle located in Acworth, GA, and a member of A. C. O. R. (Acworth Community Outreach Revitalization).
Tim Houston is an avid supporter of the Acworth Football & Baseball Association. He is involved in the after-school enrichment program with Awtrey Middle & Acworth Elementary School.
