Diana DeSanto has been the City Treasurer since October 2021. Prior to working with the City, she spent 14 years in public accounting serving governmental clients with 5 years at the City of Powder Springs, most recently serving as the Finance Director and Assistant City Manager. Diana is originally from Marietta, Georgia and earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree in Accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration with a focus in Management from Kennesaw State University. Diana currently resides in Powder Springs with her husband Michael and her two children. Diana is excited to be a part of the Acworth Team and looks forward to leading finance and serving our citizens with a focus on customer service and financial stewardship.
