Rachelle Ballard has been the Human Resources Director for the City of Acworth since July 2017. Prior to her employment with the City, Mrs. Ballard worked for the City of Smyrna as the HR Manager for 4 ½ years and Cobb County Government for 13 years, which 11 of those years were with the Human Resources Department where she gained experience in recruitment, class and pay, benefits and training. She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from CUNY John Jay College and a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending valuable time with her husband, son and daughter.
Mrs. Ballard is excited to be a part of the City of Acworth family! She is looking forward to being of service to the employees as well as the citizens of Acworth. She believes that she is joining the Acworth team at its most valuable time.
