YOUTH MUSIC, MOVEMENT, AND DANCE CLASSES 

Youth Party Line Dancing (Ages 10-16)Dance Resolution
Join Dance Resolution Coach Gabi in this exciting new class! No more wallflower syndrome! Not everyone wants to be a ballerina, however, any kid who can bust a move can be the life of the party. Dancing increases confidence, balance, flexibility, social skills, and happiness.

 Tumbling for Boys & Girls (Ages 3-5)
This tumbling class teaches beginning acrobatic and gymnastic skills in a fun and positive atmosphere. Boys and girls 3-5 years of age are invited to come explore fun and fitness combined as they roll down colorful mats, jump on the mini trampoline and balance along the floor beam. Parents, you will feel good about choosing a class that teaches self-discipline, listening skills, how to follow directions step by step and how to cooperate with classmates all while building self-esteem and new skills to be proud of! All students should wear clothes that they can move easily in, suitable for exercising in. Girls should not wear skirts without shorts underneath. Leotards with shorts over and biketards are allowed. No denim. The only jewelry that can be worn are small stud earrings; all other jewelry should be left at home. Long hair should be secured into a ponytail or braids.

Magic Carpet Music & Movement (Ages 18 months-3 years)
Soar into a new adventure with Heart and Sole Kids in this imaginative adult/child class! Parents and caregivers will enjoy dancing and moving along with their miniature partners to fun, themed music while flying on an exciting magic carpet ride! This is a 5 week session, and will be a fun new journey in music and movement!

Ballet/Tap Combo (Ages 3-5)
Welcome to fun and learning through ballet and tap dance. Preschoolers enjoy the lively music and practicing proper technique and terminology taught in this class. Whether stepping across the floor side-by-side with friends or taking a turn solo, your child's nurturing instructor will encourage them to dance their best. This class helps to develop coordination and rhythm skills, following directions and learning beginner level choreography. It will be a fulfilling experience for your confident and creative child! A parent performance will be held at the end of each session. Female students may wear a leotard and tights, pink leather ballet shoes, and black patent tap shoes. Male students should wear a white t-shirt with black athletic shorts or pants, white socks, and black leather ballet shoes as well as black oxford tap shoes.

Hip Hop Dance for Kids (Ages 6-10)
Hip hop dance class provides a great way to utilize all of that energy your child has! Kids will love the pop and hip hop music and moves geared specifically for their 6-10 year old age group. In each class, dancers will warm up, stretch and do basic exercises before learning new steps and combinations across the floor. High energy choreography will be taught so the class can prepare to perform for their family and friends. All students should wear clothes that they can move easily in, suitable for exercising in. Girls should not wear skirts without shorts underneath. Leotards with shorts over and biketards are allowed. No denim. The only jewelry that can be worn are small stud earrings; all other jewelry should be left at home. Long hair should be secured into a ponytail or braids. Hip hop dancers should wear tennis shoes or sneakers with non-marking soles.

Spotlight Stars! Drama & Musical Theater (Ages 6-11)
This class offers kids a creative learning experience that encourages teamwork, builds technical theater skills, and boosts self-confidence. "Triple threat" students will enjoy learning how to act, sing and dance. Featuring physical and vocal warm-ups, improv games, stage direction and theater terminology, along with scenes and musical numbers to perform, students will have the opportunity to get started on the stage and truly shine!

SPECIAL POPULATIONS

Special Warriors Tae Kwon-Do (Ages 6+)
Special Warriors Taekwon-Do is a great program for our young community with special needs. The traditional skills of Taekwon-Do have been adapted to teach focus, balance, hand-eye coordination and effective self-defense skills to those with special concerns. This class is instructed by Omar Welch who is a third degree black belt and instructor certified by the United States Taekwon-Do Federation.

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE

SCHOOL BREAK CAMPS

 

Spring Break Sports Camp Flyer PNGSpring Break Sports Camp (Ages 6-14)
This spring break, keep it moving with our Spring Break Sports Camp! This camp is designed for energetic kids who love staying busy, being active and having fun! Daily activities include playing a variety of different sports and team-based activities including basketball, soccer, hockey, dodgeball four-square and more! Campers will be able to focus on fun and engagement. This non-competitive program is perfectly balanced with high and low-impact activities to even the playing field for all campers! Drop off is available as early as 7:30 a.m. and late pick up ends at 6:00 p.m. There will be no camp on the day of Good Friday, April 10.
