Acworth Adult Flag Football League
The Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resource Department has the most premiere adult flag football league around. AAFFL is a joyful experience for those football fans that still love to play the game. Game play is 7 on 7 and teams may have a roster of up to 17 players. All games are played on Tuesday evenings at the Acworth Sports Complex with no cost to spectators. Records, statistics, player(s) of the week, write-ups, and box scores are posted online after each game, and the AAFFL Cotton Bowl will end post season play.
Both men and women are welcome! All participants must be 18 and up. Register as a team and start building your team dynasty! If you do not have a team, come out and participate in our Free Agent Sign-Up Day at Logan Farm Park at the start of each season. Free Agent registration is $35.00 and teams will be selected.
Acworth Youth Basketball League
The Parks and Recreation Department operates a youth basketball league for children between the ages of five and fourteen. This league provides competitive and instructional basketball for all involved. Teams are grouped according to age. Registration begins August 1. Practices will start in the first of November and games tip off in early December.
Acworth Baseball Association
The association provides a safe, challenging and most of all, fun instructional and competitive baseball experience for boys and girls, ages 4 to 19. The goal is to instill in the children of this community the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and a sense of teamwork so that they may become strong, healthy, well adjusted members of the community. Seasons run during the spring and fall.

Acworth Football and Cheerleading Association
The Football and Cheerleading association provides football and cheerleading opportunities for youth between the ages of five and twelve as well as tiny tot flag football and cheerleading for 3 and 4 year olds. Children are divided into single age groups and within those age groups are assigned to teams with kids of similar abilities and experience level.

"Where the Sky is the Limit"
The league is a partnership with the Special Needs Development Group, Inc. that provides athletic opportunities to children with mental and physical disabilities broken down into three age groups. Ages 5 to 12, 13 to 21, and 22 and up. The league currently offers baseball and kickball and who knows what the future will bring! All games are held on the Horizon Field located in the Acworth Sports Complex.

Preschool Sports Program
This is a non-competitive program to help three and four year olds develop basic skills for sports programs in the future. The program gives children a chance to explore a variety of different sports all in one program such as soccer, t-ball, and basketball. Camp is held every Tuesday and Thursday for a 4 week session in spring and fall.

Summer Sports Camps
The summer is full of opportunities for your child to brush up on the fundamentals of several sports. Every summer the department hosts a speed and agility camp and a football camp. All camps are extremely affordable. These camps will be held in July.
