Each week, both camps will go on a field trip to exciting places like Medieval Times, Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coke. Weekly guests will visit Camp Acworth and teach kids a variety of subjects, ranging from public safety to performing arts.

Registration and Fees

Fees: City of Acworth Residents: $115.00 per week
Non-City of Acworth Residents: $140.00 per week

Registration: Camp registration is not restricted to one location.  Parents are encouraged to register their child for different weeks at each location if campers are interested in a variety of summer camp activities!  Please make sure to be careful during registration so campers are not accidentally registered for the same week at different locations.  Deposits are non-refundable/non-transferable.

A $25.00 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit will be due at registration for each week that you would like to reserve a spot for your child.  An additional $25.00 fee/week will also be due at registration for non-residents.  Deposits and fees are included in the weekly registration cost.  Remaining camp balances can be paid immediately upon registration or on the first day of each week your child has reserved.

There will not be an extra charge for Extended Hours. We have built that cost into the weekly camp fee.  All campers will have the option of being dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. and picked up as late as 6:00 p.m. Anyone picked up after 6:00 p.m. will be required to pay a late fee.  Daily camp activities will not begin until 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 4:00 p.m.

Additional Information
At Camp Acworth we keep our camper to counselor ratio at 10:1. All counselors are CPR certified and must pass a background check.

Parent Orientation will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the Acworth Community Center Gymnasium.  This is for campers who are already registered for the 2019 summer and is not mandatory.  Previous campers are not required to attend.  The Camp Director will give a brief presentation of how camp is structured for those parents who may have additional questions.

Please contact the camp staff by calling (770) 917-1234 or by emailing campacworth@acworth.org with questions about camp.

CIT's must be between the ages of 14-16, as of May 28, 2019.  Applying in advance is encouraged, as there is limited space available each week.
