At the Thursday, March 2 regular city council meeting, Mayor Allegood and the Board of Aldermen held an oath of office ceremony for Acworth's 2023 boards and commissions members. These passionate volunteers are vital parts of what make the city what it is, and Acworth is grateful for all they do!

Thank you to the members of the Acworth Development Authority, the Acworth Downtown Development Authority, the Acworth Housing Authority, the Historic Preservation Commission, the Acworth Lake Authority, the Planning and Zoning Commission, Visit Acworth, and the Acworth Tree Commission who were able to come out to the ceremony.
